When life gets overwhelming and you need a serious break, family time is the ultimate remedy. My mother knows me and loves me like no one else in the world. This is reassuring especially because she knows that sometimes when I say, "Yes everything is fine" that it really isn't and she knows how to get it out of me. The best is when I get a silent hug that says, "I'm here to talk to you whenever you are, but for now, know that I love you." My sister is my best friend and the one person who will never judge my decisions but love me through it all. My abuelita is the funniest lady you will ever meet. She loves like the world will end tomorrow and is truly grateful for all people in her family. My cousin is like my brother and is one of the most reliable people I have ever met. My aunt is my second mother and has always reminded me of this blessing. My boyfriend is my soul mate and the person that I hope to spend the rest of my life with. Together, these people (along with my extended family) fill my heart with so much love. My best friends? Perhaps. My pick me up? Sure. My angels? Most definitely.
